Immunizations

Many infectious diseases of dogs and cats can be prevented or limited with proper vaccinations. A vaccination schedule individually formulated for your pet by our veterinary staff can significantly contribute to their good health and long life span.

The best time to start vaccinations is at 6 to 8 weeks of age. Initial vaccinations are given in a series followed by annual boosters.

Emergencies

During regular office hours emergencies will be seen immediately. Please let us know when you call or upon arrival at the hospital, that you have an emergency situation.

If your pet requires immediate attention after 7:00 pm on weekdays, or after 3:00 pm on Saturdays or Sundays, please call the Emergency Animal Clinic at (623) 974-1520.

After hours examination and treatments at North Buckeye Animal Hospital, PLC and Grooming are charged an additional emergency fee and all charges are due at the time services are rendered.

Fees

Estimates for our services are available upon request at all times. If at any time you have questions regarding treatment, fees, or services please discuss them with us.

All services are to be paid for at the time they are rendered. We accept cash, checks with a valid AZ driver's license. Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Novus, American Express and Debit.

Hospital Admission Policy

All patients hospitalized for surgery, treatment, diagnosis, or boarding must be current on vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks. If vaccinations are needed and/or fleas and ticks are discovered, your pets will be treated at your expense.
